Cortisone Injections

Well it hasnt worked, still getting the usual pain in my ankle, back off to the specialists this morning, probably to discuss another operation

Have you tried orthotic inserts in your shoes?

Had them in for 6 weeks, the pain I had on my inside foot due to having flat feet for years has gone away now, also been having massage and ultra sound but the right side of the ankle where I had the accident and surgery is still giving me big grief

Specialist doesnt want to do anymore surgery as MRI showing there is nothing really in the ankle to operate on and he feels poking around could actually make it worse, he wants me to carry on with the physio for another 3 months as he thinks with the insoles and treatment the mechanics of my ankle are improving and another say 15 sessions could basically cure it, private healthcare company being arses about paying for it though so may have to pay myself which is an inconvenience especially when its been going on for almost 2 1/2 years

First things first I'd say to try to stop feeding the inflamation, cut out all processed sugar. Look online at lists of foods that are inflamatory and anti-inflamatory.

Get a good source of omega3 - good cod liver or flax.

In just a couple of weeks of no sugar almost all the areas I suffered inflamation either improved dramatically or completely healed.

Might seem like trivial stuff, but from my experience Doctors "experts" rarely advise correctly on this, almost like they have a veste interest in the unwell...

You are what you eat...
