Climate Change

The minor changes aren't important in their own right. The problem is if we hit a tipping point. Which we are likely to be close to. Because that's a one way trip to extinction. The planet will be fine, it doesn't worry about temperature fluctuations, but there will be no more humans

It's not going to cause humanity to go extinct. Don't be absurd.
It will cause massive problems including rising sea levels and famine but humanity will not go extinct over it.

It will cause mass starvation and death at a much quicker rate. According to the people who study it. Extinction is not a reality though. That will be caused by nukes or illness.

Had to look that one up. Bizarre but true although claiming 1.4 billion rather than 1.1 or 1.2. Still a lot of imaginary people.

Think it’s a lot more than that tbh.

Fake birth cerificates a huge business there as there is such a high number of low income families who get a welfare check based on number of people in the household. Read they had over 100M Covid vaccines they had mandated for children that didn’t get used.

The argument I often hear from climate change sceptics is that temperatures naturally fluctuate, with some years being hotter and others cooler. While that's true on a year-to-year basis, the long-term trend is clear: global temperatures are rising, and many types of extreme weather events are becoming more frequent or more intense. Climate change sceptics tend to acknowledge the short-term fluctuations but reject the broader pattern and the connection between rising global temperatures and these changing weather extremes.

That’s one of the arguements which I don’t really subscribe to.

I personally think there is some validity to the belief that the way of measuring temperatures from the past is not particularly accurate. This is acknowledged by the scientists by the way.

They produce a wide range of what temperatures were and where they could be going. This data goes in to the a large report. The press then runs with the most extreme projection.

I beleive that climate change is happening. It’s man made. It’s just not an impending disaster that’s going to result in the earth becoming uninhabitable within any sort of timeframe we can comprehend.

This is not true. Scientists do not agree it's not accurate.

Yeh, the food and water crisis caused by the weather will get us before the weather itself per say.
There's a multitude of factors that combine in complex ways that feed into changes in climate and the planet. All human behaviours.
No clue if that heads us towards some 'tipping point' BUT logical analysis would conclude that it's worth stopping some of those said behaviours. Collective buy-in appears to be just as bigger problem.

Selfishness of society, no one will agree on what it takes to feed people anymore than they can on how to society fairer financially.
