Circus ManUnitus - Nobody's At The Wheel

The good thing about United (for us fans of other clubs) is.....no-one knows if it's the manager, the Glasers, or jim Ratcliffe that is the problem? Or all bloody 3.

I can't believe they are in this position post Fergie...what an absolute brick show.

Literally no one at the wheel now. Amorim sacked!
He pretty much asked for it with that press conference the other day!
Seems an odd one. I’ve never liked him, but what he said was pretty much a fact, and Utd seemed to be improving.

Think he does have a point that people are more concerned with what pundits say than actually looking and understanding what the team is trying to do.

From the start he said "Even if I fail here, I will be fine" or words to that effect.

I think Amorin gave his all, but telling everyone it isn't the end of the world because he'll get a good pay off anyway was an odd start. A further step of education for the United fans who believe / believed they have this divine right to be successful. It warms my soul every time I remember we beat them in a European final!

All that money spent on building a squad for a 3/5 at the back manager only to now probably pivot back to a back 4 line coach.

I thought we were a shambles but United always manage to one up us.

Amorim??
We bloody love’im!

* shamelessly plagiarised from elsewhere.

Unfortunately, in recent times, it takes a special manager to lose to us in a final.

Is there a new trend in managers trying to get the sack because of the big payoffs. Maresca last week and now Amorim. I felt that was Sven's shtick, doing stuff to invite the sack or get a pay-rise to stop rocking the boat.

I reckon they will go for Glasner and not have to change their 3 at the back system, would be a good fit....

Was starting to turn it around I thought, slowly but surely.

Being poor on the pitch is fine, say anything about the board and you're gone though, crazy.

I wonder if he knew there were moves behind the scenes to replace him soon and thought, "Bleep all y'all, gimme my compensation now biarches!"

He threw down the gauntlet and it was promptly hurled back in his face.

In a different club, him and his approach would have worked very well.

As for man Utd, well, I see Maresca is now available.

Way the game is now the DoF seems more important than the 'head coach'. Unless you're prepared to go along with the signings the club chucks at you, you're toast. That's Nuno, Maresca and Amorim this season.

I understand the need for balance the clubs needs need to be in tune with the managers, but just feels more and more that boards just want a yes man.

As long as big money flows into and out of the game, the corporate structures like this will only get more common....

That's the mistake he made.....only winning the EL final got you the sack

Which one are media going to get the sack next? Nuno and Frank must be favourites. Even Slot got to be in the running. Money is killing the game, no manager is safe with owners as delusional as fans and media stirring it up at every opportunity.

All 3 of them are in sights ..

They are already trying to sell Tuchel, Glasner and Poch to United as well.
