Blackberry probs again?

My son can't get on his BBMs or Facebook on his Blackberry again, but can text.

Similar to probs last year......anyone else?
 
I know that this could be part of the problem but there's nowt on FB about it... Last time it was all over it
 
Virgin have confirmed BBM is problematic this morning.

But not as problematic as my sons phone, which is now going for repair!!!
