I was in Dallas for a week recently for a global conference and the vibe and language seemed to be make the most of this because the next man will realise how it’s all made up

Unless some senators were willing to join the Dems and impeach Miller, for whatever reason, I'm not sure what else they can do. But I can't see them finding their spine at this point. They could have stopped Trump a long time back but chose not to. The guy instigated an fudging insurrection and they gave him a mulligan, and here we are.

What I found somewhat interesting was commentators saying that Miller's appointment will almost guarantee the next election will be similar to this one just past. Maybe they should just leave him at it then. Another election like this one would usher in such a large majority that they could finally fix their stupid, biased election system and a whole bunch of other things.

This. The massive inequality is so central to the problems the West faces. Usually by this point, there is a 'correction' by the underclasses. I think we're due one.

I’m regularly doing yet I’m in the top percentile of earners
We have no spare money really because everything just goes up in cost
And that’s life
But I also know some people with family money and the gap between us and them is huge

I wasn't disagreeing. I think the UK is more docile in this area because there are both the superficialities of the welfare state and the centuries of class hierarchy that mean it doesn't agitate or excite people in the UK as much as in some other countries. Which is the UK's tragedy and plays out with cosplay fascists like Tommy Titmouse and the Grift Squad making headlines.
