All or Nothing - spoilers

That was pretty brick, really. I now know what the canteen and the training ground looks like. I also know what image Levy would like the world to see of him (a nice bloke who is saddened when he plunges knives into backs) and in far greater length, what kind of twinkly, passionate, maverick Jose wants to be seen as (the answer is one who overflows with human insight, who only needs a five-minute chat and a fist bump to imbue any player with extra vim), and neither are convincing in the slightest. I have seen how bad the average footballer is at pretending to be themselves in front of the cameras, and that in this regard - as in so many - Jan is no average footballer.

Is there really going to be anything more to be learned from six more of these treacly, synthetic puff pieces?

It is. I wonder what the Portugese word was that they subtitled as “gaffer”.

I tend to have subtitles on as default, though. I don’t think their subtitler brought a lot of prior knowledge to the gig; the chants of “oh if the Spurs go marching in” were the giveaway.
 
Lacking the full context - but I thought the bit where Jose calls dele lazy and he just smirks was quite telling of his attitude during that time.

On my phone the foreign language gets subtitled..on the TV I had to switch subtitles on that subtitled everything.

Even the subtitler doubting us with the 'if the Spurs go marching in?' :D

I always confuse the racist wartime PM with the bloke that played for The Strolling Wombles in the Isthmian League 4th division (north East). Inspirational. But never scored in August.
