25/26 Injury and illness thread

Just not sure your angle here. To me, you're coming across as very defensive about Ange again in your last few posts and still fighting the big fight about him. Fair play.

We all know last season's injuries fell into the grey space. Over training vs bad luck vs greater playing schedules (inc internationals). Throw in the perpetual cycles you get into with a full squad not being available putting on a strain and risk of even more injuries.

I do believe the in-game stats suggests that the intensity is not at previous levels. We don't know whether Frank's training methods are contributing though.

Of course, if I was being complete devil's advocate I would say that 2 years of playing under Ange has contributed to this season's injuries. That theory can belong in the same grey space as the rest of this conversation

Haha…there you have it! Ange is still to blame for the injuries this season!

Once again…I ask for evidence. That’s all I want. Something definitive that say Ange’s methods were at fault.

That's the point. There is no evidence unless the club release some highly confidential medical data on it's players. Even then, if that proves it which it often doesn't with medical data.

You should write a strongly worded letter to the club asking them to break confidentiality so you can win or lose an argument on an internet forum. I'm sure they will see the funny side.

Must admit, Ange joining Forest and losing 3 of his back 4 very quickly when he started training them is a bit of a giveaway.

No smoke without fire

Why would I need the data? I’m not making the accusations. It’s on you to prove it.

We live in an age where if you repeat something enough, it'll become true, so I'll happily keep challenging the narrative that a manager with many years of experience, surrounded by a Premier League sports science & medical team, somehow missed something that some people on the internet discovered.

Didn't you see who's been taking training lately?
