yes its early but its already affecting preseason preparations

The Super Cup v. PSG is 14th August and EPL 1st game is 16th August v. Burnley

1. dragusin, ACL - not training with first team, no return date
2. kulusevski, knee - not training with first team, no return date
3. solanke, ankle - precautionary rest
4. udogie, something - precautionary rest
5. maddison, knee - training with first team, hopefully a few weeks away from return
6. solomon, calf injury setback - uncertain returndate

hopefully solanke, udogie and maddison especially can get a few pre season games under their belt if we want to put up a good shoing for the Super Cup!

Takai - ankle tendon soreness - anything from 2 to 12 weeks.

Are we cursed?
I'm not saying our training ground is too hard. Because I don't know.
But something like sore ankle tendons might stem from the hard ground OR increased work rate OR lack of stretching or something.
But I do get this nagging feeling our training ground is very hard.

I have no idea but my guess would be they are the same as the pitch at the stadium. Surely they train on what they play on

Not sure where or if it was credible but I read yesterday that he has plantar fasciitis?

Put an insole in and crack on if so

On a wider note - does anyone know if we have the new medical team in place? Seems Munn’s decision to replace them all 2 years ago proved to be a disaster, and part of the reason he is on gardening leave currently

Plantar fasciitis can be crippling. And it lasts a year. It really impacted Son's first 12 months with us

Predictable response. That Takai certainly did suffer from Ange's training sessions last season.....
What response did you expect apart from someone to bite?

Also, surely the gauge is not the injuries, but the repeat of them, breakdowns post, if the manager has a track record of etc etc

Seems to me you've led the conversation down a path just to go down the Ange road again.

Yeah that's fair. But I think it's more an issue that a lot of clubs with many internationals have experienced in recent times and will continue to do so in the future with the ever increasing amount of football players are being asked to play....

Yeah 100% brother, just too much football being played now. I only started watching the CL when it got to the knockouts last season, find it all a bit of a grind now.
