In my mind it largely harks back to the Leicester season, when Huth and others seemed to get away with everything short of murder in the box. Granted I may just be more aware of it because I was taking more notice than usual, but it certainly became more acceptable during that season.

Found myself wanting it to be allowed even though this is better for us.

But individuals who are trafficked into the country are not a part of the official workforce. A trafficked woman working in a nail bar or someone trafficked into other areas of the e black economy are not going to be replaced by an unemployed person if that trafficking victim wasn’t here. There...

Do we give out work visas to unskilled migrants? I wasn’t aware we did. Unless I suppose as an example care assistants are classed as unskilled?

    UFO’s - Do You Believe ?

I believe we do already have extra-terrestrial aliens amongst us and they are currently conducting experiments within our medical department.

If Angela Rayner even stands the working-class-misogyny will be off the scale in the media. I would like to see her back in the cabinet, but only if she gets the all-clear from the HMRC investigation. But I don't see her as a PM, or certainly not at this stage. Burnham standing would leave a...

I don't want Woolwich to win today, but I do want West Ham to lose. That's how I am reconciling it to myself, however little sense it makes.

I'm sure there are bad ones in all parties. But I've only heard Reform boasting that they have the best vetting system of any of the parties.

    Europa League 25/26

Oh I agree. I was just feeling a bit maudlin about it all on Thursday/Friday. To be honest even if were to win the PL and CL (which would be brilliant, obviously), I don't think anything will beat that night in Bilbao! It just can't be replicated.

    Will Lankshear

There's also the fact that the EFL season has not actually finished yet, as there are still play-offs to be completed. It doesn't feel right that a loan player at a club not involved in a play-off could then go and play for their PL club, but another loan player at a play-off team can't. That...

Which is a fair enough viewpoint but as of now, no one has demonstrated that this is the case.

But you literally said it was : “Isn’t it problematic in the first place if 95% of a parish first language is not English?”

But an immigrant’s first language is their first language. It is not going to change, regardless of how assimilated they are. That their first language is not English does not mean they do not speak English. And those that don’t will tend to be older, so it will be a declining stat anyway...
