That's what I can't get my head round in modern football, there are so many suits doing jobs a club manager use to do. If the "Technical Director" is responsible for identifying signings and developing players he must also play a part in selecting a style or tactic of play along with recruiting...

    Jose Mourinho

It's not his decision, he might feel they are worthless but I'm sure they mean something to the fans. If that was the case surely Jose big gonads would tell everyone that he doesn't give a fcuk about what the fans think, this would create more media attention he desperately needs.

Its difficult to have squad planning when you change manager and style every 18 months.

    U23s, Academy and Loanees

I've only seen Dorrington play 1 game for U21's on Spursplay and he looked a bit rusty.

Have We Got The Worst Atmosphere In The Country

I went regularly to WHL since I stopped playing in 1979 and have never booed a Spurs side, player or manager but I have seen and heard plenty of under 40's doing it.

    Kevin Danso

I believe he's our only defender who's not going to be caught in possession or try dribbling the ball out of our penalty area. He's a DEFENDER.

U18's on Spursplay tomorrow night v Bristol City, U21's on Friday night v Everton plus England U19's cricket v NZ Friday morning and Mens team v Sti Lanka in afternoon, my missus will go bat brick.

    U23s, Academy and Loanees

Yusuf Akhamrich gone on loan to Bristol Rovers, pleased for him he's been a good team player in all our development teams playing anywhere from fullback, wingback and forward. I don't think he'll make it here but his attitude and flexibility should see him get picked up by a lower level team.

*** OMT Cursed FC v Eintract Frankfurt ***

That's how the game is portrayed in media, winners are world class, losers are useless, but they will make exceptions for Spurs. I expect to see praise for Chelsea and Saudi Sportswashing Machine finishing so high.

The Case for the Attacking play

To me there in lay the problem stats are more important than goals, winning 1-0 with 2 shots at goal is worth the same as winning 4-3 with lots of goal attempts. Football in English PL is getting like field hockey with high percentage of goals coming from corners. Watching football should be...

The Case for the Attacking play

I think most of the great players have natural talent and instinct, don't think so much about the game. Dave Mackay was the only great player at Spurs that had a good managerial career IMO. When I played the after match tactical talk was mostly done by the defenders or midfielders, forwards...
