    (Brennan) Johnson Again Olé Olé!

If he is properly scouted by interested parties we'd get £15m at best for him. If they were to just look at his goals record last season, which is unlikely, we could get more.

Our own worst enemies there. Pass the ball forward FFS!

Defensively we've been poor but I think our back to front football, progressing through the middle of the pitch with some good passing and movement was better tonight than in either of the recent away wins against Leeds and Everton. We just lacked the quality in the front 3 to finish the moves...

fudging awful. Should have been a chance for us and leads to a goal for them.

You'd think we'd been battered listening to them. We had just as many opportunities as they did, just failed to get a connection a few times.

These ITV commentators are awful, I'm thinking of switching back to Alan Smith!

We've actually had 4 or 5 good attacks here, the system has been better, getting xavi on the ball in the middle etc. It's just the quality of our attackers that is letting us down. Kudus would have had a field day this half.

See what happens when we actually pass the ball forward! Great goal.

Incredible save! Inviting far too much pressure though.

So 2 free headers from a yard out and our Xg is 0.43? What a load of bollox Xg is. Edit: it's just gone up!

Right decision, still surprised we got it.

Excellent player and would have solved our left side problems.

Looking grim isn't it. City are still well off their best and Liverpool look really poor.

Not loving that team. Starting Johnson means we are basically a man down before a ball has been kicked. Would have liked something different in midfield too. Hopefully Muani is fully fit and will show us what he can do.

Blimey, that is one long rambling cringe fest. He really doesn't deal well with scrutiny or criticism. Levy's decision to give him the boot looks better with every passing week.

He's looking like Son did for us last season. He'll be playing in Saudi next year.

Good point. I thought I saw something that he was back in light training. Apparently not!

He had a good game but seems to get the blame for every goal we concede.

Any chance of any of our injured attacking quartet being back for the Villa game? Madders and Muani most likely by the sounds of it.
