I'm not talking about hire and fire, I'm talking about being able to take a risk on someone who might be good, without that risk costing.

What about people crawling into a dark building that may be full of weapons? People who you know would willingly kill non-combatants because of their imaginary friend.

All of that is added cost. All of which is a drag on employment (yet again).

What about young people without the job history? Doesn't this policy just worsen what is already a problem with young unemployment? If the risk of employing someone increases, businesses will be less likely to take a risk on someone who could be better for longer but comes with more risk up front.

Not sure if you saw the news this morning, but public finances aren't nearly as bad as Reeves told us they were. The current tax burden is the highest since WWII, due to exceed that and become the highest ever by the end of this parliament. The government absolutely does not have an income...

Not if the soldiers believe they, or the public, are at imminent risk. In that case, "stopping force" (usually a shot or two to the chest) is authorised.

What would you prefer? The standard trial by social media that Israel's critics seems to consider definitive?

Not based on the statements made at the time. Anyway, there'll be an investigation and we'll find out. But nothing in that video proves the statement false.

Terrorists aren't protected by the Geneva convention. If they wish to be, they need to stop dressing as and hiding behind civilians. They may have come out with their hands up, but they went back into the building against instructions.

Maybe they had, maybe they hadn't. With only one angle from a motivated party, it's impossible to tell. An angle from inside the building would help.

    Not if they're terrorists, no.

Why would a previous employer that wants rid of them give them anything other than a glowing reference? They'd do anything they can for them to take a new job. Maybe if they've managed to go all the way to dismissal they could, but that's quite rare in my experience.

What if they're smart enough to work hard for their probation and then stop giving a fudge? Performance management to dismissal will probably take another 6 months. Longer if they're smart enough to just skirt around it.

What's in the building? A gun? A grenade? A tunnel? If they're surrendering, why are they still moving away? You're making an accusation on a tiny proportion of the evidence. Don't let the retards drag you into their propaganda war.

He's accused of throwing rocks at moving vehicles. That has a defined sentence, so the defence knows what they're up against. He will be formally charged in court, that's just how it works there. Nothing else is different for the defence. They know what they have to argue, they know what...

Sure, as soon as we see the footage of what happened inside the building. Half truths and twisted truths.......

It's not the prosecution that's the problem. Initially the kids lawyer wanted time to discuss a plea deal. Then after a while the kid's family wanted to change the lawyer. The new lawyer had asked for time to review the case. The Israeli system is different from ours. You don't get...

Have a read up on the Oslo accords. The PLO agreed that Israel run the security for those areas. Are you saying that someone forged the signatures and the videos? Or that the PLO didn't have the right to agree that?

Israel administers the security for that area, as agreed by the PLO, the official representatives of that area. Of course you know that, but Tiktok sound bites are more effective propaganda.
