***OMT Tottenham Hotspur Football Club v Nottingham Forest***

I’m not feeling good about this one, it’s being hyped beyond reality. We haven’t been in the bottom 3 all season but apparently we’re relegated if we lose today. Fwiw I think both Forest and West Ham will stay up and it’s between us and Leeds for the last spot.

I've also had this fear creep into me. So much hype for this game, and everyone is feeling like we're on the way up, only for it to be blown away by a poor/unlucky performance today. Hope I'm wrong.

I think it'll be Tel in the hole behind the two strikers, with license to roam (likely out to the left side like he did so well vs Atletico Madrid)

I'm just glad to be going into a game with shredded nerves, it makes a nice change from assuming we're going to get battered.
COYS!!!

At a quick glance it looked like Ange was driving the second coach 😂

Hopefully we have Richie + Solanke up top so they can work as a pair to combat Forest's centre back pairing, Milenkovic and Murillo.
If Solanke tries to battle those 2 on his own, he will just get battered.

Likewise, we don't want Xavi trying to pick a way through the Anderson and Sangare pincer movement. Away at Forest those 2 absolutely battered us in midfield, with MGW biting back too.

So hopefully we have enough firepower to miss out Anderson/Sangare i.e. play it longer or wider or wherever those 2 are not, because they are VERY good.

I assume you lot are watching the warm up

What do you make if Tudor's gilet and tracksuit combo?

From his background, it appears that the one non-negotiable with Igor is the running. So they say he dropped Payet in Marseille despite him being their best player because he was lazy. Against a Forest team that may defend deep and look to hit on the break, I wonder if he is reluctant to lose possession with a more risky Xavi pass and where he may be tired from his exertions in midweek.

Forest are somewhat like us, I think, in that they are better than their position suggests. Against Fulham they were poor in the first half, made some tweaks and had 2 goals narrowly disallowed for offside and hit the bar. We have to be better than when we lost 3-0 to them but I expect, at best, a nailbiter.

they can’t be that good they are below us in the table.

Agreed NYSpur, Forest do have a good team.
You look through it and think "good, good, good, good, decent, decent, great, decent, good..." so it is going to be very tough.

I'm not going; I seem to have picked up a vomiting bug. Hopefully not a foreshadowing of our performance.
Food poisoning here too. I wasn’t able to make because of two 5 year old birthdays but in a quirk of fate, I’m in front the sofa ready for the game. Pass me the Imodium!
