I'll defend Simons in saying i've seen him play far better and he is capable of far better passing quality than we've seen so far, but no excuses, hes been really brick so far. He's fudging up the basics and simple things which I guess if you look at it with a positive he should be able to calibrate and improve in that regard. Hes truly better than we've seen so far.

it is a temperament issue when the side that's 3rd in the league and coming off a 3-0 away win look pathetic in the cup

Lacks confidence, strength and getting accustomed to the tempo, imo. I did hold out hope for Ndombele for three seasons though, so may be biased towards hope. I really think he will come good eventually.

Would love to see your flabber get ghasted either way though, obviously. 😘

I swear Johnson is useless. Why didn't he pass that into the space in front of Simons, that would have allowed him to take the first time shot. Instead he passes it slightly behind forcing him to control it, the moment is gone and he has to pass it off to Sarr. I swear this guy isn't a football player, poor at the basics and no one football sense.
