Another shooting in Murica

Well yes. I wasn’t with the home fans!
(My “look” didn’t have anything to do with it really. His mates were just laughing at him).

I remember posting here when I was out in Bilbao. The evening after the game I had dinner and then started walking towards where I had heard Spurs fans singing. As I got closer the song had changed to “oh Tommy Tommy….’ So I did a swift 180.
A football club is no different to any other grouping in society. There will be a wide range of views and opinions. I wish we didn’t have those amongst us but we do.
The streets remember The Hudd

Yeh, I was thinking about this today actually and although I 100% agree you would have liked to have thought we would know better. Given the Jewish links, the fact we sit in a massively multicultural Turkish and Black area of London, I thought we might be better than that, but it seems with what is heard at games and written on here and social media.........we ain't

How people are eulogising him in to some sort of modern saint martyred in the cause of Good baffles me.

Because a lot of people agree with him, they sit on their arses watching TV where virtually every entertainment programme shows people living a great life and need to blame someone because they aren't. Racism and fear of the outsider has been inherent in our psyche since the dawn of man.
People in power use this to divide and conquer.

They are also a bunch of hypocrites who made Lucyclamolly a Martyr for free speech but now cry their eyes out in reverse.

Can't have it all ways

Not enough is made of them going after people against fascism.

What is the message there.
Not enough is made of 90% of the things that they do. They now more or less control the media narrative in the US. Everything they disagree with was previously shut down by using the term 'fake news'; now it's increasingly through issuing legal writs against any media stories or organisations that they don't like.

People keep talking about the risks of the US becoming an authoritarian state when, in fact, it's most of the way there already.

The next thing will be the cancellation of - or interference with - elections, probably starting with the mid-terms. Declaring a state of emergency would give them cover for not running that election, hence the use of the National Guard in various cities as a precursor to that.

I continue to be stunned by the way in which the people of the supposed leading democractic nation in the world are allowing the entire nature of their country to be altered with barely a whimper.

I wonder if everyone is just 'too busy?'...or is that distracted? ..and if everything they're distracted by is consumed thru a digital device then it's a reasonable guess that the mind doesn't log it as reality compared say to a physical encounter/experience. Something akin to a soap opera. So do they switch off...not give it serious attention?

On another note...I don't think we fully (barely) understand the 'brain hacking' that has gone on.

It is hard to say if it is already past the point of no return. Either way, the UK and the EU must chart their own course without US considerations. The version of America that existed through all our adult lives is already over.

Eloquently said as always from Behr

Brave to publicly post that on a day when people are being arrested for driving a van around with a picture of Trump and Epstein on it, and others for projecting a news story onto Windsor Castle.
Khan might get angry about it but I'd just hold his head while the little halfling swings at me like in a cartoon.

I totally understand the tactic of pandering to Trumps’s ego but ffs this is all way over the top and frankly embarrassing.

Loved the “Led by Donkeys” initiative last night and interested to know on what grounds they’ve been arrested. Probably none, just held long enough to prevent them repeating the display.
