The Order - saw this on Prime over the weekend, based on a white supremacist group in the US with the same name from the 80s. Jude Law as the gruff FBI agent chasing them down, Nicholas Hoult as the groups leader - if this had had a cinema release it totally passed me by, was really good 8/10
ClearlyFinally got to watch 'Complete unknown'.
Not a big Bob Dillon fan but it was an enjoyable watch with some very good performances by Timothee Chalamat, Monica Barbarot and Ed Norton.
What I mean is it was a good film whether you like his music or not, you sarcastic so and soClearly

Go to one with booze. It is a different vibe. So, I haven’t been to the cinema in about 30 years, (with one exception) - always hated it as an experience. So I miss out on a lot of films unless they come out on terrestrial or streaming platforms.
I recently found out that our local little theatre does a Monday matinee every couple of weeks.
Went to see A Real Pain a few weeks ago which was excellent, although a bit weird as I had just finished the final season of Succession the night before so seeing Kieran Culkin in a different role was odd (although with some similarities to the Roman Roy character).
But I digress - went to watch The Brutalist this afternoon. Just 4 customers and 2 staff watching it. And wow. What a film. I was worried that I’d struggle as it was so long but it had me totally enrapt. Brilliant performance from Adrian Brody. I’ve always like Guy Pearce but think he came across too young for the role he was playing but still great.
Made me think now that I have the luxury of time I should maybe look into morning cinema showings where it’s going to be quieter. We’ve also got a relatively new Lumiere in Romford which might be a better option than the Vue.
Now that I like the sound of.Go to one with booze. It is a different vibe.
