OMT ***Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham Dildo Club***

I don't think going out of the cup will bother poch, but the manner of it will.
Capitulation is not in poch gameplan.
If it had a narrow lose where he could have said, ah well that's football, he would have quite happy. But that was beyond sloppy.

Such a waste of momentum.
Today will be interesting to see if any doubts linger, but it will be ‘but Kane was missing’ if we falter, which is a bit sad!

No more sad than pre determining that any loss of form or points will be because of the West ham game

I'm sure that the players will be tinkled off to have thrown that game away but I doubt that it will impact on our league form. The side today will be very different from the one on Wednesday and I can't see our first choice back three making the same mistakes that our makeshift one did.

I'm not overly bothered by the defeat and going out of the cup. It the manner of the defeat. I was hoping these performances where a thing of the past.
I'm not a happy clapper zombie.
Sunday was one of the best Spurs feeling I have experienced for a long while, wonderful.
Wednesday was a cold blast of history repeating itself.

Good thing. A clapping cadaver would risk losing a hand.

This attitude makes me laugh. Yeah West Ham are nobodies, who exactly are we?! Yes we are better than them but Some of the arrogant posts when we was winning last night I read were cringeworthy. We are a good side who have won nothing. We used to laugh at Arsenal because all they used to do was get in top 4 each season and at best that is all we are doing, at least they've won some trophies whilst doing so. We finish top 4 for a couple of seasons and think we have the right to look down at most other teams- save that for when we are actually winning things.....
Bore off

Was at the game yesterday; am livid with the surrender and sad my boy had to watch us lose again after being ahead; oh well, even with all that, he still LOVED the matchday experience anyhow - he's even more hardcore Spurs than i am!

I'm trying to let the dust settle before i give my thoughts on how that abomination happened, but what i will say is NO-ONE can say Poch didn't take that game seriously if you look at the line-up; it's what makes the collapse even more disgraceful imo.

Oh well, as i say at least my boy enjoyed it despite everything.
Special thanks to @Whiffler, @Glenda's Legs and @billyiddo for the travel tips - your advice was spot on (i cannot believe more people don't use Wembley Stadium station to get in and out of the ground tbh, but who am i to complain!)

P.S - @monkeybarry , @K.D.D.D.D.Soc ; can't believe how many Spurs fans are SELers - i'd expect more Gooners down here given their real roots lol. Just goes to show how fluid movement patterns and how good transport links mean more fluidity of spread etc. Maybe one day we will indeed arrange a meet-up haha

COYS
Lots of fans in SE, London. North Greenwich tube is always busy when we play at Wembley.

It's a long term plan, mate. We're building up to win the league and challenge in the CL in the near future. It's not going to happen in one year. If we want to be an elite team, these are the goals we have to set. And if focusing on a cup means derailing us from these goals, then we should absolutely treat the cups as we currently do.

Of course it is ( and i have not suggested otherwise), its a plan that has been going on for several years ( started when " rent a quote" first attempt), however we are at a point where we have a squad that can NOW challenge for all trophys.

Not yet. We're still one or two players short to challenge on ALL fronts and the injuries this year haven't helped.

How bad is it that I saw that news story and thought we hadn't played them for a while so it must have been a while back...?

It was a fudging stupid decision to rest players against West Ham. It's not as if fresher players are going to be able to beat Real Madrid a week later...oh.
Yep Spurs X1 lose to local rivals in league cup who knows? a few pikeys and gooners, Spurs beat European Champions in CL who knows? The whole fukcing football world.

Hmm, the win yesterday partly makes up for this abominable defeat.
If we win the PL/CL Trophy (or even the FA Cup) then all will be forgiven

Or to put a different slant on it, resting players against West ham defiantly helped us against Utd ;) selective opinions mate, selective opinions.
