World Cup 2018 Qualifiers

Seeing the replay of the goal, that's an excellent finish from Harry. Basically the only reason I was watching was to see him score.

Good work from Kane and Walker.
But as a game that was desperate and dull. I dozed off and was woken up just as Kane was scoring.
Job done. That’s about all that can be said.

I'll paraphrase Pep on this one: The Harry Kane national team.

fudge me, that was a pretty tinkle poor second half (I didn't see the first one) from England. Where's the gameplan? The structure? The movement? You won't win anything in Russia playing like that, that's for sure.

Luckily for England, Kane is English and has not yet opted out of playing for that clusterfudge of a national team. Great cross from Walker too (did miss him for a second there) and of course who else could be in the exact right spot at the right time than Harry Kane.

England would be better off being really defensive, try and be solid and pray that Dele or Kane can nick a goal. If they try and play an attacking game against any decent team, they will get pumped.

I tell you one player who currently must be loving things.... Ross Barkley. Everton look hasn’t without him (yep no Lukaku too I know) and England are crying out for a player like him who can be creative

Absolutely no creativity... Dier and Henderson can only pass sideways, Walker has gone back to Capt Brainfart mode, Sterling, well still brick, just utter boring gonad*s to watch

The only player out there tonight who was anywhere near decent was Rashford, he is going to be a hell of a player.

Big problem is players are very poor in the most part, Rashford and Kane are ok.
Walker is worth his spot but the rest not convinced.
Sterling was in the wrong position and Ox is so off form it’s not true!
To be fare these so called weak teams have some gems amongst them not as big a mugs as we all like to think!

Alright, sweethearts. Enough kvetching. Lighten up. Brighten up.

Kane scores. England in. Job done. Now the really good news.

He doesn't have to play in England's final game. Seriously. Absolutely no need for him to even travel with the squad.

Some valuable time off to relax. Home with wife, child, family. Head straight, heart happy. Ready for Spurs tough looking month ahead.
