Television Coverage Of Spurs

I am the same, I would rather just turn the TV on rather than spend 2 hours to find a moody feed.

I think this is the beginning of the end of the vast amounts pumped into the PL.

Sky need to realise they can't charge more than they did whilst reducing the options - no ashes, no cl and potentially losing the Spanish league.

Agree with all this.

I'm not a big fan of BT Sport it needs to grow up. I wish they would use James Richardson more for EPL and get rid of the majority of their pundits who are very poor at best.
Still like Sky football the most overall.

BT's commentators are horrendous and massively Liverpool bias - James, Mcmanaman (who sulks) Owen among them - I know Sky have a few, but they are professional.

Much how I love him, Ginola is pretty poor as well.

I am shocked Richardson doesn't have more - The Two Danny's is decent at times and so are the other sports they show - Sky just rehash the same "United vs Someone Gold" or *insert united players name* Premiership Legend - sky just looks old and dated.

Given what you pay for BT the options at are much better - Baseball/UFC/Basketball/Football

If Sky falter there other companies who would easily jump in...Goggle,Facebook,Discovery etc etc have all expressed interest in buying football rights, these are major players in the media world if they do they'll feck about more with the premiership than sky would do....39th game for example.
Most of these foreign owners know that the pot may reach boiling point in the UK with regards to tv rights but worldwide there is plenty left to stir in football rights and interest. These owners know where they want to go with football but they are not going to shout about it to everyone.

Sky have lost the US PGA Championship as they want to pursue other ways of distributing in order to reach more people. They might be overestimating the pulling power of golf, but good to see they're doing their bit to change the way live sports are distributed today.

Just went on sky chat. They offer the £20/month sports deal but you locked in for 18 months. I then told him the base package of £22 on top was too much. They knocked £7 off this. I told them I will not expect to pay the £20 set up costs, that was waived.
Then the sky cinema package he said was £10 on top. I asked for the whole lot for £25/month. The best he said they could do was £45/month for base, all sports and the cinema package.

I'm tempted to see what Sky can offer but thats still without BT (that will not be free this year) for their PL and CL.

Plus i like watching the saturday games.

Will try again as we get closer to the start of the season, i'm sure there will be a push for more subscribers. Saturday games i'm with you on that, always seem to be more enjoyable ones too.

Still better value than sky but I can see BT raising prices every year to pay for all the coverage they now have.
