Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

But with a new stadium. Its a totally different kettle of fish. Its more or less on the same location but it will never have been named White Hart Lane. That is why the sponsorship is worth more. It wont get lost by the media.

It being a new stadium definitely means that the naming rights will be worth more than if we were seeking naming rights for the current stadium but I think that they will be worth a little less than if we were moving to a completely new location because some people will still call it the Lane and that slightly reduces the impact for a sponsor. I still think that we'll get good money for them.

Yep, it's exactly the same plot of land, as fans why shouldn't we still call it the Lane? The club and media can and will have to call it whatever sponsor we get, but that doesn't mean we have to use the same name.

I can still see something like Nike Hart Lane !!!!!

It says where the old and the new stadium converge. That is right where their Site was isnt it? lol!!

No, the Archway site will be under the new pitch.

Diagrams showing overlays of both pitches show that they don't overlap, but are close together (a metre or two apart). As a first approximation the south stand will begin at the Paxton end goal and overlap at least half the current pitch.

The club say the time capsule will be exposed via a transparent covering so it can be observed by fans. This suggests it is either in the new South stand atrium or outside. I'm not quite sure if the centre circle would be under the stand or outside.

It's gonna be in the new museum in the very old club members office (the old building that remains)

Well that's what they said on the tour anyway

From what I've seen in the pics...the new east stand looks a bit boxy and not any bigger than the east old stand!?

The main lower tier looks smaller than what we have now..oppinions,facts please?

Is it not possible to have the front of the top tier built overlapping a bit while we still have the mecano handy.:)
Another couple of thousand should not do any harm  lol
Least, not forget, we had an incredible stand there before. Now that was the real old WHL!..and
The best stand in Britain at that time IMO.

BTW...I hope this new (WHL) ground does not become full of big prawn munching and champagne swigging yuppies.
It would kill everything we had!
Oh yeah..one more point .lol. The roof! The roof looks miles away from the fans.
Will that not stifle the atmosphere as well..oppinions as always?

Come on you Spurs.....

The roof is not miles away. It's going pretty much straight out with the slightest upward tilt. It's also designed in cooperation with sound specialists to ENHANCE sound and atmosphere. Another benefit of the roof design, is that you will be able to see all of the opposite stand, no matter where you are seated, unlike the hideous new Liverpool stand, where you can barely see anything but the pitch from the top rows.

The lower tier is twice the size of the East Stand Lower, the concrete tower in the North-East corner is already substantially taller than the East Stand and there's another tier to go on top of the new East Stand, of similar proportions to that on top on the North Stand. Even I can see that and I do need to go to Specsavers!
