Cycling thread

Wiggins looks like being exonerated. I am very uncomfortable with the closeness of British cycling and Sky, I hope that when the full report comes out the make sure the is a distance between the two.

I love me some cycling but I am starting to feel like its all been a lie from Sky and I don't like it.

If Dave has been dirty and Wiggo bent the rules then I think I might be done with it

All the abuse he gave victoria pendleton for doing the dancing show on the beeb, saying he would never do reality t.v. show. He is a narcissist personality attention seeker, reminds me a lot of armstrong in a lot of ways.

Has a lot of Questions to answer like Lance too, not as many but still

you may well know more than is written there but it doesn't read to me like it was simply his choice

The rumor is that he did not want to sign up to certain practices which though legal now might be looked upon differently down the line.

This is the biggest problem with cycling and the drugs things, I for example think sky and wiggins are as shady as anything, but I doubt they actually broke laws, just pushed things to the max. It is similar with HRMC going after people for tax avoidance years down the line. What is legal now is frowned upon in a few years. The French road cyclists are actually I feel the cleanest of the lot now.

Caleb Ewan to do something special this week in the tour down under, lovely sprinter him and Gaviria are going to be great rivals in a few years time.

I love Sagan think he is the classics rider of his or any generation for that matter, I really hope he wins Tour of Flanders tomorrow but think he missed a trick by not moving to a bigger team where he could use team mates to his advantage because the rest of the peloton are taking him out with better tactics.

Either way I put down 100 on him to win. Love him.

Still going for Cav for the Tour and the sprints and am looking forward to the tour of California to see him Kittel and Sagan all against each other, I think Gavaria is going to the Giro.

I don't like him myself, but he's a very good rider. He's no doubt one of the biggest favourites tomorrow, but I think Alexander Kristoff will give him a fight. He's really good on cobbles, and won the "warm-up" last weekend.

He looked second best Kristoff to Kittel in a sprint this week in Belgium. I guess van armet however you fcuking spell his name has got to be a favourite. Would love to see Luke Rowe or Stannard show a good account of themselves.

Kristoff is not at the level of Kittel in a pure sprint, but Kittel doesn't have a chance in a classic like Flandern. Kristoff is the best sprinter of the ones that have a chance of winning Flandern. He did win it two years ago. Van Avermaat is of course also one of the favourites. Hopefully it will be a good race tomorrow.

if you like cycling and you like money, you need to back richie porte to win the tour de france, 10/1 with ladbrokes, 4/1 elsewhere.
