Fixture & Ticket News 2016/17

Arsenal will be around 210 I think.

Chelsea Semi will be 180ish I would say and I will stick my neck out and suggest that Man Utd at home for the final game will be around 220.

As of 7 Feb there were 4372 members with over 200 LPs.
There are usually in the region of 5300 tickets available to members.
So if every member with over 200 points applies that would still leave 1000 seats for those below 200 (although the price point you pick still apparently comes into play butI haven't quite worked that one out). So there's still hope for those with lower points ( she says very very very hopefully. 194 would do me).
Since the table was last updated LPs will have been added to those members successful in the ballots for Watford, Bournemouth and possibly Southampton (not sure if that is included or not). Oh and Milwall LPs as well
So for anyone below 200 it is going to be a very nervous day next Tuesday.

Finally having 400pts will be of some use...

Well it should be. And you definitely deserve it to be.

I'm just unclear how you can still lose out if you have the right amount of LPs but went for a lower price band. Maybe I am being a bit dense.

I've gone for the highest band just to give myself the most chance (LPs permitting) although I'd rather not be in the west stand in an ideal world.

I'm sure this conversion has been had before, but can someone explain the maths to me on this....

According to the LP table, we have less than 20,000 season ticket holders (this shocked me - I seem to recall 23-24k being the accepted figure not so long ago). So, assuming this number is accurate, that makes around 25k Spurs fans per game, ST's & members. Add in away fans, that's 28k or thereabouts.

Now, I understand of course that the club have "other" uses for some tickets, but 3-4k per home game? Really?! That's a lot of tickets not going out via 'conventional' channels....

Could it be that the number of ST holders was reduced this season in line with the reduction in the capacity from 36k to 32k?

We will get approx 32000 for the Wembley semi, which when you think about it is pretty much the same as our WHL capacity this year, so LP cut-offs will be comparable. ST first dibs then the rest on Members LP's.

Demand for all three will be massive imo.

Not quite, because the 32k at White Hart Lane includes away fans. Therefore, the Wembley cut-off should be noticably lower than the two league games.

I'm still intrigued as to how it all adds up though. IIRC in other recent Wembley semi-finals & finals, about 7k have gone to members. If it's true that we only have 20k ST's, what happens to the other 5k....? (32k - 20k - 7k)

The players will get an allocation, probably 6-10 tickets each and then the staff will get a smaller allocation too including stewards and office staff. That is likely to take around 1.5k-2k out of the equation straight away. A smallish number within the allocation will probably be kept back for special requests from sponsors etc. who want a ticket outside their allocation, I dunno, maybe 300ish? That's around 2.5k tickets that will be out of circulation. We have 23k season ticket holders going by the list on the site regarding loyalty points so for a 32k allocation we will likely have around 6.5k-7k available for members but that doesn't automatically mean that the cut off point will be lower because we have more available. The Chelsea league game was 89 points I think? This semi final will be much higher because many more people will apply in the hope of getting a ticket however unlikely. This will just drive up the loyalty point cut off.

Well it should be. And you definitely deserve it to be.

You could miss out if you chose the lowest band price and so were only in one ballot. If the available 5000+tickets are spread equally amongst the 4 stands i.e 1250 approx in each stand. Then no matter what price they select any member with over 450pts cannot mathematically miss out.

Any idea when the dates and times of the semifinals will be released?

Praying MASSIVELY that they put ours on the Saturday. It's the London Marathon on the Sunday and i'd promised months ago i'd take the kids along to support the ex-wife who's running it for the first time. :(:(

Am I naive to think that because we were the first tie on the list we'll get the Saturday? Or because it makes more sense to have the capital's Police force available for a local derby at Wembley that day, rather than share them with the marathon??

Massively hoping for a Sunday game and i think i win.. Booked a holiday 6 months ago after checking games we were playing away, forgetting to check potential Cup ties. Get back at 12.30 to heathrow.

I suspect due to travel they will put Emirates Marketing Project on the Saturday rather than a Sunday late afternoon.

Dont think it works like that - Certainly not according to THST twitter feed.

If you apply for south lower and miss out due to LP's you will be offered another ticket in the stadium in another category. So the cutoff is for the stadium not per stand!
If you did miss out youll probably only get a single ticket though rather than 4 say together.

Dammit! You could have a point with the travel plans. Though historically don't National Rail just throw on a few extra trains to cope with the demand of Novena's travelling down?
