Crawley - it's not uncommon for someone in the stands to relay info down to the bench

At ground level you really can't see much of the team's shape

Maybe Harry can't even see that Bale isn't on the touchline!

But it's not unusual for some underling to phone the bench and give advice, it doesn't mean there is a coup d'etat underway

Bullet, I'm totally aware of the use of a higher positioned person, and if you remember, Hoddle used to spend the 1st half high up before coming down.

My point(s) are this:
It's QPR.....where Sherwood was sat isn't even high up. It was just a few rows.
He was pointedly telling Bond, who appeared to be arguing back. Why couldn't he speak direct to harry?

While all this was happening, harry was stood hands-in-pockets, not paying the slightest attention. I don't even think Bond relayed the messages.
And I re-iterate.............bloody Sherwood!!!! I know he has a position of relative power, but fudge me, if he is pulling any strings, no wonder it's gone to rat-brick.

I'm trying to develop a conspiracy here......let me have my moment.;)

We've been unlucky for about 15 continous hours of football now. That's a lot of bad luck. Still I'm sure we'll pick ourselves up for the next match...

If the players had any fudgein pride themselves they shouldnt need a manager to motivate them to FINISH fourth and FINISH where we want to finish and want to be next season.

I go into work and my Manager doesnt need to motivate me and hand hold me every working day. I have pride in my self to do the best work to the best of my ability EVERYDAY. Those players out there have forgotten the objective and it shows they didnt want it as much as I and all of us thought.

Depends where you work tbh. In real life most people couldn't be arsed about their work ethic and wont rise to a top paying job. In football footballers are bought regardless of their work ethic. If a player puts a good shift in when things aren't going their way its regarded as out of the ordinary.

Also I'm sure some of the players thing they personally are playing brick at the moment their confidence is shot. And they half suspect that the new manager will be getting rid of them in the summer. Then there's the players who probably have their deals for next year with another club sown up in their heads and can't wait for next season.

what, so is Sherwood gonna take over for the last 4 games, allowing Saint Harold to go off and save the nation?

Absolutely gutted at how this has panned out.

I have come to loathe Redknapp since Capello's resignation.

The posters who expressed their concern about "our" manager have been proved to be entirely correct. They deserve respect for their bravery.

Four more games with Redknapp in charge it is then, an unsurprisingly modest cheque from the FA and a new era begins.

I hope Levy has someone up his sleeve, not David bloody Moyes..:frown:

Exactly - so these players dont care BECAUSE they will most probably leave and play in CL next season anyways. So how does one blame Harry for not being able to motivate them? How could you? "Do this for spurs" "Do you realise who you are playing for?" " Do this for the fans" "Want EL next season or CL next season?" Hence why I think the players are to blame also.

I think everyone is to blame - Harry, Levy and the players. I am just stating why everyone should be blamed not just Harry.

Levy negotiates the contracts imo but under Redknapp, our wage bill has effectively doubled. But our revenue has gone up quite a bit as well.

The problem is, the revenue last season, which was fine for the wage bill, included CL revenues. It won't this season and likely won't next season. So there'll probably be quite a bit of trimming this summer imo.

But there's nothing to out contracts nearly everyone of our players are on around 40k - 70k.
The only ones who would be on less would be Walker and Livermore. We used to have lots of young players on less but this gone under Redknapp.

In defence of Harry

Just thought I'd create an area for those who wish to defend Harry and what he's done with us during his time with us, and especially this season.

Well if he is he certianly wont be getting the job full time thats a certainty, for me the majority of the backroom staff can go too, let the new man bring in his own team

Agreed. Sherwood, Ferdinand etc, they're all a bunch of sock puppets.

In defence of Harry, he's done a world class job of getting himself fired so his pals at the FA don't have to compensate us for going to England. Fat, saggy-faced c*nt can't fudge off soon enough for me. Get his poison away from our club.

Excuse me!

This thread is for those who want to DEFEND Harry, and his record.
