Don't get me wrong, I don't disagree with you at all. There's dozens and dozens of players we've missed out on over a couple of million that Levy MUST regret.
I just don't think we have spare cash hence typically making a profit every window.

agree about the spare cash.....we have broken even this window now and i dont see where we can raise the extra cash through big sales to buy Berahino. That i can understand, but to not buy because we cant get Lennon and Ade off the wage bill i dont think is correct.

That "makeshift solution" may well become an issue if we have a problem in front of goal. Besides who said Pch agreed to that makeshift solution and did not intend them to play as wing forwards? Anyway I will not speculate about that, suffice to say I am unimpressed that we knew Ad and Roberto were on the way out of our first team squad and management saw fit not to buy a striker

Indeed, we had just one striker and the so called experts on here said Chadli could do a job as a striker, could he feck? People seem to assume because you are a wing forward that you can automatically do a job as a central striker. Hey ho

No doubt Chadli has s decent strike and goals in him but leading the line is a different skill entirely.
