ITK Thread

Based on what (apart from a dislike of our management)?

Werner is young. Think it is just as likely that he had a change of heart about moving to a foreign country. Nick Barmby was homesick for Hull (of all goddam awful places) when he was 24 or something.
I don't have a dislike of our management at all....

In fact if my prognosis is correct then I would say that we have done the right thing. Werner has a certain amount of promise, but would also represent a gamble in the fact that he hasn't even come close to establishing himself for Stuttgart yet. A player in that situation is worth a gamble at (say) 6 or 7 million, but probably not at twice that amount.

I agree, though havent seen much of him. Would prefer Berahino, N'jie plus a midfielder

Personally I think one of Townsend dembele or lamela might and should go at end of window as well .. Along with Fazio soldado adebayor abd Lennon ..

To be fair, I'm not sure that it is the best time to be relying on very young players when you are fighting a relegation battle.... The player probably would've got more chances at Spurs by getting game time in the Europa League along with Carling and FA Cup games.

I think what has really happened here is that we have made an offer for a player that wasn't accepted by his club and we weren't prepared to increase our valuation to match Stuttgart's asking price.

Sounds like a lot of guess work to me.

That was because his old lady wanted to go back home and it was her that wore the trousers.

Who: The Goat
When: 12th August
Where: SC

Nothing new i'm afraid but The Goat hears from a source that Fazio could be leaving soon.

but Stuttgart really are abysmal, every season recently they seem to be fighting a relegation battle. He probably feels that if he cant break through there yet then why move to England and try to get into a top 5 team in the PL. Thats what probably made him change his mind. Better off progressing at lowly Stuttgart for the time being.

Oduwa wasn't getting in Luton's side last season and Pritchard was in the second tier.

It doesn't mean they don't have big futures, or even that they can't do immediate jobs for us (see Mason jumping straight from Donny Rovers to our first choice CM).

i didnt say Werner wont make it, just that he probably prefers trying to get back in the Stuttgart side for now

Grey Fox on N'Jie: Almost there with this one, but concerned about news of other targets, seems they will be late ones if then

brick calm down calm down ( in scouse voice) I didn't say the targets won't get done just more complicated than me and other ITK we're led to believe a couple of weeks ago.

Before you buy your Levy voodoo dolls , can I make it crystal clear this is not down to Levy, but the players and agents
