The Official 2014/15 Premier League Thread

nah he is English and gash mate get rid as soon as possible and sign someone from abroad I do not care if they have ever played in our league or not and of course they may not be up to the pace of the game but I do not all these bloody English in our team. Sell him if Swansea will take him the mugs.

They might take him though, they brought siggy off us and he has been awful this season, not one goal or assist.

Irony. Not just for West Ham fans.

been watching the whole game, been quite poor. out of his depth.

How interesting is that this is his best game for Swansea so far IMO.

Doesn't hide himself that much , dare to make forward pass in stead of simple 5 yards ball , throw himself to the challenge although most of them were missed (got booked) , picked up many loose ball as well.

So despite our poor, poor start to the season, with four lost home games, we're still only four points from fourth place. Incredible.

Level on points with Liverpool, 2 off Man Utd, 3 off of Arsenal.

Fine lines, isn't it.

One more win this season, we'd be 7th, one point off 4th.

I know it's easy to say but one result and things would look much rosier.

@The_SweetFA:

Table from a Saints view

1
2 @SouthamptonFC
3
4
5 Chambers
6 Shaw
7
8
9
10
11 Lovren Lallana Lambert
12 Pochettino

Within Southampton's next 10 league fixtures:

Emirates Marketing Project (H)
Arsenal (H & A)
Man Utd (H & A)
Everton (H)
Chelsea (H)

Aston Villa (A) - W
Emirates Marketing Project (H) - L
Arsenal (A) - L
Man Utd (H) - L
Burnley (A) - W
Everton (H) - D
Crystal Palace (A) - D
Chelsea (H) - L
Arsenal (H) - L
Man Utd (A) - L
Saudi Sportswashing Machine (A) - L

I can easily see them averaging less than 1 ppg.

It was this time last year when Pochs men went from 3rd to mid table.

Which makes sense as fixtures lists don't seem to hugely change from year to year. In this current cycle Southampton have easier games at the start followed by a seriously tough run.

Predicting a Southampton collapse may provide some comfort, given the abject performances we are seeing from our team, but I don't see it happening.
