because Dembele isnt a DM.. the question should be how is he ahead of Stambouli. Mason is ahead of Dembele.
 
Villa looking potent every time they come forward. There's a sentence that isn't aired very often. We really need to get out of snooze mode here, it's in danger of becoming our default setting.
 
Kaboul is a trier but he just isn't the class. I look at players for other teams that have rock solid games week in week out, eg. Winston Reid, yet we have never sniffed round these players with solid prem experience. We just take pop shots in the European transfer market and then the players we end up with cant even dislodge Kaboul.
 
There's something different about this season. We don't seem to play badly because of a flawed playing system, underperforming players or bad form. Our players just aren't very good anymore. We've had this coming for years now I think, so many poor signings, so many bad decisions. There's no spine - no King, Modric, Keane, Berbatov, Lennon (the good one anyway). Only Hugo. I'm just praying Pochettino won't get the blame when things go wrong, I don't believe for a second that a new manager would have us playing any better. He needs time, the club need some form of consistency again.
