*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v West Bromwich Albion ***

well, i think the harsh reality is that our poor dealings in the market have left us with an upper midtable team.

its a real shame, we handled losing our world class players really badly to be fair and when you line up with the likes of chiriches, rose, paulinho, kaboul, chadli, capoue then you can see it in front of your eyes. You wouldn't bat an eyelid if that was a sunderland team. We are midtable quality at the moment.

We've lost too many one-on-one battles all over the pitch today.

Ciriches is a disaster on defence. Been shakey on the ball all game, giving up corners needlessly. Last one bites us on the ass.

We have this sort of game every single season I can remember.

When we were spending that 100million last season did we actually properly scout any of the players? I like Poch but why is Kaboul captain. In fact why are him and chiriches still at the club?

We have four better centre halfs too. If the pair of them got injured for the season we would be better off.
But why is Poch picking them ?

yeah, it was all harry. nothing to do with the fact we had world class players at the time. no sir.

World class players such as Crouch, Bentley, Bassong, Corluka, Pav, Keane and Ekotto to name a few ?

Of course we had Modric but we were never a one man team. Bale certainly was'nt world class when we qualified for the champions league and played about half a season, as well as King who only managed 20 league games.

Worst part is we have all the tools and we've shown we can play the game Poch wants, that's what's frustrating

Just want to see progress. It will take time. Frustrating as hell to watch though. Some really sloppy performances out there. That's what I can't fathom

I want to see progress but whats disconcerting is you have WBA who looked so much better than us and far more threatening. Anyways. Like I say I think its a mentality thing no matter how many permutations and combinations of players you use yet people still think its the players.

Easy to say it after a potential result like this but you know my thoughts on Poch when he was appointed.

Now 5-3 Leicester. We'll be spared any kind of serious embarrassment in the media as the knives come out to slaughter a spacegoat or three.

Poch looks vexed. I'm glad. They have been utterly hopeless today. Well done West Brom. Well worth it.

whats he going to do? make them watch more videos, make them run harder in training? triple sessions, quadruple sessions?

it will be intersting to see if his approach at Southampton will have the same effect at a club like Spurs

It just all feels like Groundhog Day: Play a boring Thursday night game and play average, play average on Sundays, finish 5th/6th and have to do it all over again the following season.
