GG's favourite album of all time

Vanishing Point is great too. One of my favorite Primal Scream records is XTRMNTR, but Screamadelica just has this flow to it, I feel like listening to it from start to finish every time I hear it. A truly epic record in my book. :)

I listened to Screamadelica too much when it was released and don't feel the need to listen to it again right now. I am quite looking forward to rediscovering it in ten years time.

I'll keep the poll below open until Monday evening. Once we have selected our top 32 albums we will move on to the knock out rounds where albums will be paired up against each other and only one can go through.

Whilst it's been rightly accused of being a Stones rip-off, I'm a massive fan of Give Out but Don't Give Up.

Too late for selection, but Hawkwind's "Space Ritual" is incredible...

Funny you should mention Hawkwind, I was thinking that it was surprising Motorhead didn't feature considering how many metal/hard rock nominations there are.

Motorhead don't really have any outstanding albums IMO.

Unbelievable Jordy (biased I will admit)

Overkill
Ace of Spades
No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith - the best live metal album ever?!

;)

And yet Ugly Kid Joe make the long list ;)

ha ha ha…one day I'll have a chance to tell you a story which will make you laugh…long story short, Whit's ended up as a good friend, but it wasn't always that way!!!! And yes.

To the admin area. Always happy to share rock n roll tales.

I like Motörhead, but I'm kinda with Jordinho, the albums are too up and down

Americas least wanted is great, things tailed off after that IMO

the lack of a maiden album surprised me

just spotted it

I'll change that to, surprised there wasn't a classic maiden album on the list, number of the beast for example

also, live album wise, maiden live at donnington 92 is immense

19 votes in. I will hold it open until tomorrow night which might give me enough time to work out which 7 albums I will pick :-k
