A true false 9. It is the only way a 4-4-2 becomes fluid enough to adapt to different teams.

Would be ideal imo.

Lewandowski isn't joining Bayern until the summer though, so at best Mandzukic would be available then. Not sure if he would come to us and if bigger clubs would stay out of our way. I fear not.
 
Of the players we've been actually linked to I think Berbatov and Vucinic look like the most promising in terms of being the right type of striker and gettable so far.

I was watching the juve/Roma game last night and Vucinic came on and scored from the penalty spot. It was hard to judge his overall performance as Roma had two players red carded at that stage but what did strike me was how poor Llorente was all game. I haven't been following his form in Italy but if that match was anything to go by he has really lost his mojo.

QPR are actively trying to flog Remy in January (probably because Redknapp needs the cash to reinvest in the squad). Dunno if it's possible but if there's an opportunity to buy him now..i would do it.
 
I know there is a clause in the loan deal which means Saudi Sportswashing Machine can trigger a deal for £6,000,000. I mean if that is the money they are willing to accept, I really think we should be all over that. Considering that is the rumoured price for Defoe to Toronto, would be a terrific deal.
