****OMT - TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs WOOLWICH ARSEnal****

All things considered, I don't think we have been poor at all. We've showed heart. Haven't deserved the win, but with some luck, we might have been in this.

Created chances, defended well 3 days after our last game, with a whole other team injured.

Difference was that monreal looked at walker and blocked him off. Walker used strength.

yh but it was strength to foul monreal

imo, both shouldve been penalties. but after clattenburg didnt give the first, there was no way he was going to give the 2nd. which is very frustrating obv, becuase the 1st incident shouldnt influence the 2nd decision.

Only consolation is that we know only have 2 games in the next 3 weeks and TS will have some time with the players. Hopefully by the time we play Man C at the end of the month we'll have some players back and a new LB signed

i kind of agree with you to a degree. but i have a spurs bias obv lol.
im sure arsenal fans may think walker wasnt a cert to reach the ball when monreal fouled him etc tho.

But Monreal has to be within playing distance and not deviate from the line of the ball, otherwise it's obstruction.

For a sweeper-keeper Hugo' passing has never exactly been his strong point, 54% passing success today so far...

I agree. Its eeeeeeextremely early days and i feel this has been promising again.

Compared to our old style of football (being diplomatic there) we've been positively bristling with ideas and creativity.

Pretty injury ravaged with a back four personnel we all know isn't really up to task.

I think we're moving in the right direction definitely.

I don't think it does though? Arm out away from body ball to hand usually results in a penalty

Someone linked me to the fa site a while ago and I'm pretty sure i remember reading it had to be deliberate. May be remembering wrong though.

Spurs fans dish some abuse, he gives a bit back. Nothing wrong there.

I hope Theo has a long, happy and prosperous life. But I also hope he's done himself for a few weeks there.
