*******TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR VS Saudi Sportswashing Machine OMT**********************

AVB lost this game due to poor team selections and inflexible tactics. I'd say 6th is about the best we can hope for this season and we may not even get that. Dembele must hold some pretty nasty photos of Andre to consistently get picked in this team. Townsend has all the brain power of Walker, he always makes the wrong decision. Way over hyped and I have been saying this all season- no end product. He really thinks he is Bale MK II. The tempo in the second half is how we must play for the full 90 minutes from now on, otherwise we will end up in the upper mid table positions.

He actually delivered some dangerous corners. Also, that great cross that Soldado just watched, and a few nice passes in midfield. Not saying he was amazing but thought he was better than a lot of others.

Commentator said he was crap though, that's all that matters.

@OptaJoe: 73 - Tottenham Hotspur have fired in 73 shots on target this season; more than any other team in the Premier League. Eager.

@Squawka: Tottenham have scored just 9 goals in the Premier League this season. Only teams in the relegation zone have scored fewer.

](*,)

Another long international break to stew over a defeat :(

Typical armchair fan response. Yet the people who pay £1000's a season - it kinda affects their life - thats £1000s out of their well hard earned cash. Your attempts of being high and mighty stuck behind a computer screen ****ing away at the Messi poster you have in your bedroom wall doesnt really bode well for you. I would suggest that if you are not going to type up some sense then you cease typing up at all.

ps - Same goes for your turgid of a post about 'being happy with a draw at home against Saudi Sportswashing Machine' typical post from an unambitious 'fan'.

pps - I agree about not taking the game SO seriously that you cry about it all day long but your reasoning beggars belief.

1. They're paying £1000 to support a team, yet criticise, or boo, or moan, or bitch, or well, sit on their hands and be quiet. Go and enjoy a game of football, if a teams not entertaining you, then entertain yourself, sing songs, have a laugh instead of being serious all the time. I'm sure you'll come back at me with the typical response "why would they cheer when they're not being entertained"

2. It's a Bale poster actually.

3. We were 0-1 down and Saudi Sportswashing Machine were playing well, why wouldn't I be happy with a draw? Have you not seen us this year? Did you seriously believe we would turn that game around? Unambitious? or realistic? If we ended up scoring and making it 1-1, I'd have been happy. I thought we had deserved it based on that second half performance.

It's funny how all these players that looked so good attacking in other teams come into AVB's team and suddenly look a shadow of their former selves.

Sigurdsson looked like a young Gerrard for Swansea
Dembele dribbled past players and scored regularly for Fulham
Soldado, Eriksen, Lamela, etc

Even Bale became boring under AVB he rarely took his man on or did those hair raising runs we saw from him under Redknapp - he was turned into a goal machine- get the ball and shoot, get the ball and shoot.

Lennon now checks back inside and is praised more for his defensive work.

They all play with the hand break on stifled by instructions.

Only defensive players have succeeded under AVB

But it doesn't seem to matter to you whether we win or lose. How can you then possibly be a Spurs-fan?

I'd prefer us to win. Does it bother me when we lose? Depends on the performance. Did I think we deserved to lose today, nope. I thought the draw was on the cards after the second half performance we gave. Losing against Emirates Marketing Project at the Etihad after King conceded a penalty bothered me, I was gutted.

of course. I can tell by your usual negativity that you're not too happy with yours, is that why you constantly blast the team you 'support' ?

Its about passion. Its about having ambition. Its about wanting the best from your team. You, on the other hand, dont appear to have a passionate bone in your body, regarding Spurs ! I know I should'nt even engage with you as your clearly a "bedroom WUM" but your post below sums you up to a tee. You have surpassed yourself in ways to make you look silly.

i care about us as much as I wouldnt like to see us get liquidated or relegated

THAT is your level of passion and ambition for Spurs. My GHod, I would hate to be you.

Sigurdsson was playing central for Swansea, it's where he plays best. He has hardly played there for us this season and was usually behind Dempsey last year when it came to that. Plus, he was the main man at Swansea, he'll never be the main man at Spurs

Dembele still dribbles past player for us, he just never knows what to do when he gets past a man, he was the same at Fulham, wouldn't say he scored regularly for Fulham neither, not when he played central midfield anyway.

Soldado, Eriksen and Lamela are all coming from three different leagues with all different styles of play. All three deserve time and In fact potentially a full season.

So, in other words, you are not really a Spurs-fan. Glad we got that cleared up.

Totally agree Townsend and Dembele promise so much but deliver so little. I personally detest the system we play. AVB is a chip off the Mourihno block only differance was in Mourinho`s first spell he played the same type of boring football but had better quality playes than we have at the moment. Played one up front but that one was Drogba. Only 11 games gone and we have already lost 2 at home. We were the same last year very poor at home but better away when teams came out and gave us a lot more room. Differance this year is we have not got Bale to score the winner/equaliser. Knee jerk reaction I know but what has Townsend Dembele and Paulinho got to do to get dropped. Townsend is the most over hyped player this year the one goal he scored was a total fluke other than that he is so predictable. Similar to Huddlestone promises so much but delivers so little.

AVB is a stubborn fool, we all saw this game panning out badly when we saw the team sheet.

Football is a strange blend of success and entertainment, he is not providing either, so what is the point of this regime. The players don't enjoy it and it is boring the supporters to death.

I do have passion and ambition, it's funny you say this as I sort of feel it's what you actually lack. All you do is criticise regardless. We could win 5-0 against Arsenal and you'd still criticize something, probably for not scoring a 6th goal or something stupid.

THAT is you level of passion and ambition for Spurs. My GHod, I would hate to be you.

Poor you.

The court jester is hanging himself with his own words today. Well, at least thats raised a smile after the game.

Still we should have had at least a draw today, and when we beat Emirates Marketing Project next all will be good in the world again
