I believe I'm the one who posted it first in the Arsenal thread so I do know.

But I wouldnt rule us out. Why should I? Arsenal aren't far ahead of us. The only thing they could offer him is CL football and maybe thats exactly what he wants. We just spoke with Madrid for what, 110 days was it? It isn't IMPOSSIBLE.

Reports over the weekend suggested far from that, more of a case of Madrid needing the cash?
If he's desperate maybe we do have a chance?? 8-[
 
Might be better them spending £45m on one player, than bringing 3 £15m players in positions they really need more??

Just a thought

Still leaves them with at least £25m-£35m enough for a decent striker/defensive midfielder/centre-back, perhaps all 3?
 
We've bought the best players we could possibly get without having the CL bargaining chip. If you're talking about the few players in the £45m - £50m bracket, there arent any who would come to Spurs. Hence goats ITK is almost certainly ********.

:ross: some of you guys are gettin greedy, namin Ozil is potential spurs lineups :ross: We've barely even seen Eriksen/Lamela/Hotby link up and you already want an upgrade. This is why we rarely get nice things.
 
Ozil would be an amazing signing for anyone so i really hope it isn't ****, the speed at which Madrid discard such great players is absolutely insane.
