That would be an amazing team but I fear Bale is gone. I haven't done the sums but I guess we may be close to breakeven with Bale's transfer fee. So keeping in mind we wouldn't really have spent any money :))) this is my team...

Yeah - pretty confident now that it'll be something like this.

Dawson vs Kaboul and Dembele vs Capoue perhaps the closest battles.

If memory serves correctly Spain played a friendly in Ecuador on the wednesday.


Same reason Cazorla didn't start for the scum.

Mata and Torres did not get called up for the game, the right back did Capisoalalsopadk or whatever his name is.

Here's the way I see it.

Willian's best position is on the left cutting in with his stronger right foot.
Lamela (just like Bale) has got much better playing in a central role.
Lennon an out and out winger bringing balance on the other side with one inverted winger (Willian) and one standard winger (Lennon)
Also Both Lennon and Willian will work hard tracking back something Lamela wont do an awful lot of.

And I cant see us playing a 3 man central midfield against the majority of our opponents but we should play 433 away in big games to dominate, in which case you'd drop lennon.
 
This is the first window that I can remember where the club has treated it like a fan playing Football manager where we all put all the ****e up for sale straight away, then cherry pick decent foreign talent. Cannot wait for the next version actually.

Still got Andros (who I rate highly) who can play. Would have liked to have seen more of Smith at right back but hey ho.

We've got Kaboul who can cover the right side, Verts who can cover the left side. Lot's of depth.

I think Dembele plays and Willian moves to Chadli, Chadli drops to the bench. Thus leaving Lennon and Chadli available to stretch the game when that lot have broken through the bus.
