fudge that. Im not singing for anyone to stay. They wanna fudge off then let them. They should be thankful playing at a great club rather than playing for a complete numpty of a club in that two team league.

Maybe its me but I wouldnt beg anyone to stay and certainly wouldnt sing it. Id sing a song about BAE as he is being, so it appears, shoved out and id sing about wanting him to stay.

I do get what your saying...and it did cross my mind. It's just that Bale is a Great player, a game changer, and he was absolutely awesome for us last season. If we really wanna compete for the title this season it can really only be done with Bale in this side, and not without him.

All the new guys will take sometime to settle in and find their feet in the EPL.

We really do need him this year to pull away from Arsescum and Liverpool otherwise I honestly believe its gonna be very tight for 4th.

Bale is on a level near messi and Ronaldo, and we have no one else like that, nor are we gonna be able to get anyone like that this season...lets be honest!

So lets continue to show him the love and as we need him this season more than ever....where on the verge of something special and he can be the difference.

I didnt no. Was too busy singing for Spurs.

I should have stipulated that there is a difference between a player/manager desperate to leave and one who is being sacked/sold.

He is a superb player, one of the very best and it is a wrench. but I cant do the whole 'begging' thing. Id love it absolutely love it if he turned around and decided to stay for a season or two.

ah but at the time the songs were sung because people didn't want him to leave for England and if you remember rightly he was less prepared to deny his interest in the job than Bale is with Real. fair play if you never sung the song though

I didnt. To be honest im one of those that rarely sings (smack me round the face why dont you haha).

I think ther ehas been a greater deal of noise regarding Bale than Harry saga - then again most of it is coming from RM. .

I've been watching the Gareth Bale YouTube videos of last season and its driving me crazy that we could lose him this summer. He is a monster of a player, a real world class super star. We've not had one of those since Gazza.

I think asking for another season is entirely fair, and good for all concerned. Yes, he should be happy to play for us and we gave him his opportunity, nurtured him etc but he also responded with hard work, dedication to improvement and phenomenal performances. Therefore if he wants to play at a higher level, it is fair. In a way he has earned that right.

What hurts about this saga is that it seemed to come out of the blue. It looked like he agreed he was going to give one more year. It looked like our plans seem to be 'really invest in the team, combine the new players with Bale, and we can push for the title' so for him to suddenly say he isn't up for that anymore, is poor form.

If it was next year, I'd be able to take it a lot more easily. I'd happily bid him farewell. It would really hurt if the news came out that he was going, because it would be unsettling that it isn't all going according to plan for us.

gotta put this to back of our minds and hope the boys carry on the start to the season.....

song was moving in places.....

hope he stays . but prepared for it if he goes....the romatic in me sees the comeback in the nld and a storming performance.......one is allowed to dream.

Near enough every goal is perfect precision from outside the area, that one against Swansea doesn't get anywhere near enough praise. Amazingly quick feet and the power generated from that distance is insane.

You are so right. The more I watch it the more I marvel at what an extraordinary piece of skill it took. In sixty years of watching footy I cannot recall seeing anyone score with a take-swivel-and-shoot-from-outside-of-the-boot all-in-one-go effort like that before.
