The Blue & Yellow ITK Bonanza Thread

Livermore as a cb? sorry but he'll be all over the place. If you've noticed, he looks a complete mess when played in a position where there's a lot of defensive responsibility (when Arry played him as a DM he was utter toilet tinkle but looked better when played as a box to box mid). He's not smart enough in a tactical sense to read the game and stick to his position, he wonders about, no tactical discipline at all.

Regarding Hudd:

Storts on SC:

Cardiff interest very serious, looking promising for those that want him out.

West Ham?

Yeah, they are another looking at him although baulking at our price

wpd659 on SC has said pretty much the same.

A poster on SC says Livermore played as a CB before Spurs converted him to a midfielder.

I started as a goalkeeper, then switched to a striker. I then dropped into the hole, before playing a deep lying playmaker position as my legs slowed. I then became a stationary veteran centre half, whose outstanding attribute was pointing and shouting loudly at people 15 years my juniors. Finally, I dropped to a sweeper position, mostly panting, kneeling and clutching my heart. I have laterally spent the last 8 years in a deep sitting position - on my sofa - mostly eating and surfing MFC on my laptop.

This is all ITK, hence the post.

I can confirm that during this time, I played in both BLUE, as well as on occasion, YELLOW.

Very funny.

I agree. One of his big weaknesses is that he's a bit of a headless chicken. Last thing you need at CB. I'd rather Parker played at CB to be honest - he's a bit lightweight but at least has the experience to read a game

I dont agree. I think Livermore was underated on here when he played CM anyway. If AVB believes he's good enough at CB,Ill take his opinion. lets wait and see.....

Sorry are you talking about Parker or Livermore. Livermore is a lot better than him at holding his position and keeping disciplined possession.

Daily Mail reported back in july we were after Thiago Ilori who is also apparently a Liverpool target.

Dont know if he is any better than Caulker tbh, I dont follow Portugese football, right now we need a CB but looking at his stats he looks to be less experienced

On the face of it we'd be replacing a Spurs-grown 21yr old England international with a decent amount of top level experience for a 20yr old who's spent most of his time in Sporting Lisbon's B team :~

Maybe he's a gem though, I don't know anything about him.
