Kit Thread

to be fair to Puma, there were no other kits in England that looked like ours, especially our 125th home shirt that was lovely. But on a whole their kits felt very cheap, but way better than the Kappa Crap.

I like Adidas stuff but they done seem to put much effort into some originality. They just make a template and then fit the kits on it. The new Real Madrid one is last years as well. They just change the colour of the stripes every season. its gone from Black to Blue to Gold and now GREY!!

Puma were ok. The kit we had for the season we were in the Champions League is one of the best we've ever had.

But UA seemed to realise that it's the fans who care about kits and not the players. The competition I won, being flown from Sydney for the last minute of the season and the plans they have for this coming season. It's just a kit but they realise what football means to many of us.

Thats shocking considering they were a Manchester Company. Looks like they will be totally gone soon.

I don't think umbro actually has anything to do with umbro international. Umbro international seized to exist here in 1978 (http://www.solocheck.ie/PurchasedCoReport?companyNumber=62252) and umbro financial seized to exist in 2000 (http://www.solocheck.ie/PurchasedCoReport?companyNumber=273839).

I think Toplion sportswear have the franchise for Umbro stuff here. http://www.toplion.com/contacts.html

that looks like it's the real deal. would also have preferred the logo to match the navy blue trim on the shirt, but that shirt looks sharp and simple. haven't seen the back of it yet, though ;)
