OMT: ***TOTTENHAM v sunderland***

Like all Spurs fans. I really hope we keep Bale. Take away his goals and we are probably mid-table.

Sigh. Good effort, lads.

Congratulations, Arsenal. 8 wins and two draws from the last ten games is a terrific run, one we couldn't match.

72 points. We did what we had to do. Shame it wasn't enough in the end.

tinkle take from the referee in the Arsenal game!! Arsenal players continually wasting time and yet he only adds 4 minutes of injury time. Arsenal waste more time in the injury time and the referee ignores this!!!

It's funny, though, that Rafa's last act in a Spurs shirt was conceding a penalty that led to us losing at the same ground that Arsenal won at today. The old leaving a last, putrid gift to the new.

Shots on goal: 35-8
On target: 14-3
Off target: 7-3
Blocked: 14-2

Possession: 68% - 32%
Pass success: 82% - 68%
Aerial success: 64% - 36%

Saudi Sportswashing Machine wouldnt have scored with 40 mins of injury time

No surprises after today: Bale scores, Arse sneaks a win, and we end up with the short straw.

Disappointment aside though, this has been a brilliant season for us overall. New record points total with a new manager, after losing three of our best players - and we still end up at 72 points. Well done!

Now lets build on this for next season, keep Bale, buy a striker and go all in for the title! ;)
