Where's the list of fixtures the top 3......................that's TOP 3 face.?
 
Hard month started with the Emirates Marketing Project game and since then we have beat Saudi Sportswashing Machine and a point vs Liverpool. Arsenal have a harder set of fixtures especially when we beat them! Also we should win our home games whatever even if it is against man utd. I feel that this month decides whether we will be in the title race. 7 points vs man utd arsenal and Chelsea we can do it

Yeah did it a few days ago..tried to be fair doing it too,draw against the arse and losing to cheatski for example,and we came in 3rd just behind the two manc clubs,in fact if we had'nt been cheated at Stoke and city(Boleteli should not have been on the pitch to win the last minute pen)and at home to Wolves(scored a good offside goal,and their's was a goal kick to us and not a corner to them),we would have won the league.
Just imagine if we dont win the league due to the fact the ref at Stoke had erm...a bad day.

Playing against Arsenal, Chelsea away and Man united at home i can't honestly believe that we will go the rest of the season unbeaten...

In pure footballing terms i believe we can match them, maybe even better then. It's just that they always seem to get the rub of the green when playing against anyone.


The fact that several of our previous games have been decided by refereeing errors makes me realise that being better at football sometimes isn't enough. It sounds stupid, i know.

na it doesnt. I always expect us to lose against Utd every time now at old Trafford, no matter how good our side is. At home the most I expect is a draw. Refs never seem to give us anything against Utd, if they had have done in the past, we would have won so many more!

Was the last win at the lane against them when Ferdybond scored?

that was my point when starting this thread. people seem to think we??ll win the league, or at least that 3rd is a given....come end march i believe the race for 4th is pretty damn close

I reckon the race for fourth will be quite close, I just don't think we'll be a part of it. I see nothing to suggest that arsenal/chelsea will go and improve their form dramatically. Both of them also have Champions league games to contend with as well.


I doubt we'll win the league, i think that is dependant upon United and City collapsing, and whilst one of them may i just can't see both of them doing it.
 
people being too generous to all the top teams i suspect. around 85 will probably win the league and even now we'll be doing well to get to 80

Are any games easy? The so called easy games come with greater expectation and at whl usually a wall of defenders.

The year we finished fourth we all thought we had a extremely tough run of games (esp when palacios was suspended) but it was the making of us as we rolled over Arse, Chelscum and Emirates Marketing Project.

The thing to keep an eye on is the consistency and form of the team. No games (except watford) have caused me to question us, even if in some games WBA, Everton we have been nothing more than professional 3pt gains. We are still bossing games and the squad appears a happy bunch. This is not the same imo for Ar*enal and Chelscum.

Arsenal's fixture list looks just as tough as ours but I agree with those saying we should be aiming for the top spot at this point we have proved we are just as good as anyone while Chelsea and Arsenal are just scuffling along. As much as everyone on here likes to call out Sky and media bias EVERYONE is saying we are in the title hunt except us!! FFS have some belief COYSSS
 
Some Uncle Mike-esque posts popping up in this thread... draw with Arsenal and Chelsea and we're good for 3rd bar a monumental **** up. If we came 3rd I would be fudging over the moon. We can still win the title but I'm content with lurking in the background totally unfancied for now.

I want us to beat Arsenal so fudging badly though. You just know they will pull out some sort of decent performance though and it will end up being decided by 1 goal or as a draw. I have a similar feeling about United at home... But both teams are there for the taking, we fudged up against City but at that lifeless bowl of brick we shouldn't face as many problems and at the Lane we can beat anyone. COYFS!!!
