*** Tottenham Hotspur Vs Liverpool OMT ***

This is brilliant.

3 more points and up to 5th without the team properly clicking and with a sub-par performance.
Fantastic that we can already be doing so well.

It is not AVB on the pitch who can't make a 5 yard pass.

Im not gonna blame AVB but something changes in tactics that makes the players panic. It starts with a simple change in the system i.e. sitting back then five mins intense pressure leads to 20 and then an hour. Its difficult for a team to go in and out of those phases I think.

What a terrible first half. We need an in depth discussion at why footballers are so thick at times. Painful. First half splendid

:)

I think it wasn't a bad performance throughout, just seems that sometimes we seem to properly switch off, whether it's a basic pass or remembering to actually close someone down when they're obviously going to cross the ball. Or getting the fudge out of the way when someone's clearing the ball, could have been two own goals from that, Gallas was lucky. Lloris was lucky as well, thank fudge for Henderson.

Good result though. Hopefully Dembele has come through without issue. Also did think Dempsey did well.

Has it realy come to this. We cant even enjoy wins at the moment due to the shockingly bad peformances. Week in and week out we are brick. Plain and simple. I say again that AVB is devoid of any tactics, any inspiration and any management skills. We are 5th despite of him, not because.

Get behind the manager please; we can clearly see our tactics worked in the first half, however the second half the players took their collective foot off the gas despite neither us nor liverpool changing tactically.

I remember a 2-1 win over the dippers at home one november not so long ago where we were battered for 70 mins and stole it...that was lauded!

Steff, we need to be better than this. Bloody long high balls to short arses up front. Did not keep possession for more than 5 passes 2nd half. Daws back to hoofing it forward to no-one.

Steff I remember that game

I also remember that we were actually pretty brick in that period we had only just started to come out of our slumber (two points eight games). Liverscum were also a better side.

Today they looked like Barca with their passing and we looked like... well... spurs

Meanwhile Man U have been making very very hard work of their match against the spammers...apparently next to no chances in the second-half...they'll walk away with the 3 points and look forwards though.

3rd and 4th, or is that 4th and 5th? choice CB's in my opinion. It's never going to be that easy.

Liverpool had chances in the first half too.

I'm happy with our league position but it would be nice to not have to hang on at the end for once.

Wigan was just as bad the only difference is liverscum are better than Wigan.

That second half was unacceptable in all seriousness We are at home dammit. Seriously. fudge. Our players are not that bad that they cannot pass and panic at the drop of a hat.

Did you not see Suarez destroy Dawson and Gallas for pace early in the first half. The only option with those two was to sit deep and invite them on.
If Caulker and Kaboul were playing it would have been a different game.
