We should play 2 up top at home every time. Dempsey clearly isn't working I'm sure we can all agree on. With Ade suspended we may well have no choice which is another massive fudge up on our part in itself. Did AVB not inform Levy he'd like another striker before the deadline?

Agreed, the Lane is fast-becoming miserable. We need to take it back. Maribor was a good start. Away games are much much more fun.
I think AVB is trying to be more positive, but am interested in how he can play 4-4-2 against the spammers? But I agree, positivity on and off the pitch is vital right now mate...

My worry is our defensive frailties which AVB needs to address before I can feel optimistic. Too many individual errors at the back are costing us cheap goals and we are conceding late goals in every match. Gallas looks past it and we need to settle the Goal keeper issue- please le t it be lloris. Believe that AVB has made a mistake dropping Dawson. He should be playing prem games and Gallas playing in the cups. This was a problem for AVB at Chelsea where his defence often completely lost its shape remember bosingwa going awol and Terry looking completly lost - sound familiar this season only replace Bosingwa and Terry for Walker and Gallas. The Arse game just showed we cannot hold on to any lead and defensive solidity has to be number one priority if we are to achieve any thing this season. Oh by the way didn't think it was particularly brave to change at half time against Arse. the game was already lost and we needed to find a way back in. that was really the only option. Had AVB changed to the second half formation at 1-1 or 1-2 now that would have been brave.

under normal circumstances yes
but we are having a poor run at the moment, at home we are yet to really put on a decent performance for close to 90 mins, so yes i expect 3pts but i dont think it will be a "comfortable" 3 pts.
