JT - Captain. Leader. Legend. Qunt

They've already determined he's unreliable, why should they suddenly believe he's sincere in his apology?

He has been charged, hasn't he?

Presumably he'll get a fine like Rio for the "choc-ice" comment on twitter. Its a bit strange for the FA to pre-empt their disciplinary panel but perhaps England match bans are not available punishments for the charge. Making Cole sweat on his hundredth cap wouldn't be such a bad idea

I think he's been charged for the Twitter comments.

My issue is that the FA seem to have already decided Cole is guilty of lying to cover up for Terry. If that's the case, shouldn't they be bringing some kind of charge against him for that too?

JT won't appeal the ban - official

Chelsea captain John Terry issues apology and decides not to appeal four-game ban

Last Updated: October 18, 2012 11:55am

Terry had until 6pm on Thursday to contest the punishment handed out by an independent FA regulatory commission.

But in a statement issued by his representatives Elite Management, Terry revealed he is unhappy with the FA judgment but has decided to serve his suspension.

"After careful consideration, I have decided not to appeal against the FA judgment," he said.

"I want to take this opportunity to apologise to everyone for the language I used in the game against Queens Park Rangers last October."

"I want to take this opportunity to apologise to everyone for the language I used in the game against Queens Park Rangers last October.

"Although I'm disappointed with the FA judgment, I accept that the language I used, regardless of the context, is not acceptable on the football field or indeed in any walk of life.

"As I stated in the criminal case, with the benefit of hindsight my language was clearly not an appropriate reaction to the situation for someone in my position.

"My response was below the level expected by Chelsea Football Club, and by me, and it will not happen again.

"Looking forward, I will continue to do my part in assisting the club to remove all types of discriminatory behaviour from football.

"I am extremely grateful for the consistent support of Chelsea FC, the fans and my family."

Terry will miss Saturday's Premier League game with Tottenham as well as the clash with Manchester United on 28 October and the Capital One Cup tie with Sir Alex Ferguson's side three days later.

Chelsea's trip to Swansea on 3 November will be the final game he misses.

same!

(Although i'm now always worried when Ivanovic plays against us.. he seems epic from set pieces)

Terry is a runt, but he is a very good defender. Him being out can only help us.

How many red cards has he had at White Hart Lane?

We (South Stand) definitely get to him at the lane

Chelsea at home is probably my favourite fixture now

you guys know how absurd this looks to us foreigners?

U21 plays in disgusting racist Serbia, and David Cameron voices his anger and concerns. (very legit)

the former captain of the national team ADMITS to have used disrespectful words and he gets away with 4 match suspension??

what he did was with same intent as what Serbian fans aimed at black U21 players on tuesday

the English FA is a joke
