Zero luck this afternoon for Europe, USA getting every single break going

Nothing to do with luck. The European players struggle putting on fast greens with grain. I have never considered Hanson, westwood, lawrie, Rose, GMac, Rory, Garcia as good putters. They may be ok in Europe where the greens are generally slower with less break and no grain.

If you know you stuggle on the greens you are putting a lot of pressure on your driving and iron play and hoping you will knock it to 4ft every time.

In Ryder cup, generally, the best putting team wins.

61 for Colsaerts on Ryder Cup debut, this boy is good !!!

Monty massively hating on Woods, didnt play well but shot a 67, -4

Kaymer, Westwood with not one birdie between them, our stars need to really shape up if we are going to rescue this

Harsh, considering the number of US tour wins between them, including 3 majors?

Awesome scenes on the 1st tee

Bubba and Poults ask the crowd to stand up and cheer when they are teeing off, it was like Happy Gilmour, brilliant..

Harsh but fair. Unfirtunately we are playing some of the most consistant putters in the PGA tour, these guys just dont miss from inside 6ft and make their share of 10-15ft putts. The players mentioned above are, by golfing standards, great putters but when talking about being a good putter in the context of the ryder cup players our players in general are far worse.

Why is it all but McIlroy and GMac have never won a major? They cant putt well enough over 4 rounds. The real difference between the top 100 players in the world is the short game.

Yes there are exceptions to the rule, like Westwood who has never really developed a great dhort gane as he is rearly in the brick, most of the time he is GIR 15ft from the hole.

Europe could be on the end of a massive drubbing in this ryder cup if USA carry on playing like they currently are

Keegan / Mickelson have been better than yesterday if thats possible but in the same game Westwood has been awful again today, thats games basically done so 6-3

Poulter / Rose 1 up and playing well, the other 2 games are in the balance, Rory / Gmac really not sparking either..

Massive 90 mins for the europeans

"NO SOUP FOR YOU!!!"

i'm sure I heard someone shout "F**K YOU SEVE" about 5 minutes a go.

Seeing that singles line-up, I honestly can see a major turn-round here. Every one of those is winnable. Genuinely.
