Look at those passing stats... Utd with 603 of 675, Spurs with 188 of 242.

We've been saying for years that we are due some luck up at OT and we finally got a bit today, a great win and a great performance from most players

Indeed. I've been punched in the kidneys so many times as a Spurs fan that I can't allow myself to enjoy games until the final second FFS.

When we scored, I thought "woah that's too early" and when we got the second I thought "oh dear, we're gonna **** this up and lose 5-2" and when we got the third I thought "so what, we will still **** it up" and when the injury board came out I thought "they'll still score in Fergie time" so it was only in the last second I could change mentality and think "THIS IS GOOOD".

In fact to be honest, they have beaten us 22 times at OT and we've just beaten them once so I'm still feeling like maybe in 22 years I can fully be happy.

I am a pessimist.

Well done to one and all. 2nd half was predictable once Rooney come on, always going to be an onslaught.but we did so well to hang on in there.
Just dont want too many last 25 mins like that, sheer torture.

5th place unreal, that 3pts makes up for the late goals conceded v Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Norwich. Probably still 2pts off where we would have expected to be right now, but the confidence that win should give the players more than makes up for that.

The belief they should get from that win is unmeasurable.
