you want people shooting from there, the probability is massively in your favour, even if they do hit the target it has to travel so far that the keeper should easily be able to adjust and get to the flight of the ball

Can’t see how goals come
We don’t have players with that history of scoring
And despite having loads of ball we don’t create much
 
It’s clear as day we need someone like Maddison on the pitch whenever fit. It seems to be the only way the ball moves at pace enough that we create real chances and the movement is better. Let’s be honest, Liverpool were mostly playing their kids for most of that game including whilst they were 2-0 up even if the goals were scored by two of their senior players.
 
It was not a terrible performance. The goals will come. I think he should have gone full strength.
