It's going to take take time for the injury bunch to be available. Add at the same time we are safeguarding what we do have.

No fan of Gallagher, but we've tried other options for the AM and nothing has exactly worked yet. Gallagher is worth another go I guess.
 
The sheer wrist-slitting depressiveness on display all over the Spurs world after a mere TWO games is pitiable and laughable.
If this was after twelve, ten, even eight games it'd be somewhat understandable.
But not this.
There's a weird undertone to some of it as well. Like a hatred of optimists, a desire to do them down and an eagerness, a slobbering thirst to have something to whinge about.

Weird comparison - City have spent hundreds of millions on their team and some you choose not to mention our players we've signed who are starting like Marmoush and Savio and just mention the easy spacegoats who were nothing to do with the money we spent this summer....

I think the context of the two and a half years previous to the last two games just MIGHT be playing its part…

I’ve no problem with Gallagher in the 10 and I’m not expecting the injured players to be back yet. I’m tinkled off that Fernandes has yet another knock and that Solanke’s deemed not ready to start.

I watched both parts of RDZ's press conference yesterday. A reporter called him out on the suggestion that Tonali wasn't fully fit given no World Cup and a full pre-season. Now RDZ says that at Milan it took Tonali a year to understand how to fi into the team and perhaps it will be the same at Spurs. Surely RDZ is not going to turn out to be yet another flimflam merchant is he?

It's because whether people admit it or not many thought we would be right up at the top of the table with performances and results to match.

That's why people are in despair it's because they overestimated what we are currently and how long it will take to be decent.

Cities current squad cost about 100m more than ours in transfer fees. Ours is 4th highest in the league

Have they said Fernandes has a knock? Tbh thats going to happen, that's the issue with the midfield our depth of quality is paper thing. Fernandes was never going to be available for 37 games.

Im not bothered whether Solanke is available or not. He's becoming better in everyone's mind the longer he's unavailable. Just like Richy we need better, he's no solution out issues.
 
It`s a big problem for some of us Spurs fans after the past 2 seasons trying to find some optimism. I`d really like to know what RDZ see`s Tel doing to give him a start. I hope he does something to prove me wrong but I will not be holding my breath.
