Calling twitter posters little girls?
Come on now.
Calling twitter posters little girls?
I think it’s fair to offer up a smidge of criticism without being labelled a cry baby etc.
The window’s been open for weeks and closes in 1 day.
We’ve had two league games with reserve attacks (apart from Marmoush) and haven’t scored a goal, and only added to our attack this week.
If we really wanted Ndiaye we could/should have bid a bit sooner.
Mudryk feels like RKM all over again.
Dont see what the big deal is - people were already questioning where Ndiaye would fit in. So with not signing him going for someone the coach knows and clearly rates despite what some on here think who will be a squad player on loan so not blowing a load of money on with potential upside as the manager believes he can get something out of him I don't have a problem with.
It's not like we are looking to him to be our stellar summer window singing.....
We ain’t buying Toisin are we?I think my issue with Mudryk is that he wasn’t doing anything before his ban, he was already a bit of a forgotten player. It’s not as though he had the ban but before that he was killing it and the ban makes him a bit controversial, he wasn’t doing anything special anyway.
I do get the idea of him coming here and potentially getting going under a coach who knows him, I just don’t see it as being particularly likely considering his form prior to the ban.
As I’ve said, I’ll support the bloke if he plays for Spurs, it just feels a bit of a “let’s sign Mudryk” and the only real response I have is “…for what?”.
Tosin feels like buy now, sell next year. Signing a player for signings sake.
Getting gazumped by city can happen
Shows a lack of planning at both clubs
And the stage thing is both saw him as an alternative to Gakpo
But plan C being a guy who has literally not been here to play
What was the plan…
We ain’t buying Toisin are we?
This feed like they have panini stickers on a table and moving them around
That’s the manager thoughSo we've basically fudged up our last attempt at strengthening our starting XI attack whilst disgruntling one of the limited number of players in the squad we have that can actually score a goal?![]()
ScaryThere was a post from Ali Gold saying we can’t loan two players from one club, so apparently the idea is loan Mudryk and buy Tosin.
That’s the manager though
Why did he publicly say what he did
All fair, would say a lot of the best signings are those that appeared underwhelming. But regardless, we have Kudus and Kulu returning pretty soon so unless there is an obvious attainable quality target that goes straight into the team I don't mind going for someone who will add depth on loan and our manager obviously rates and believes can get something out of.Its one thing to not sign someone based on not knowing where he fits, its another to sign someone who has barely kicked a ball in 2 years and was far from very good when he did play.
I get its RDZ choice and I get he knows him, but honestly its underwhelming and feels like a signing that does not track on the other profiles he wanted in Gakpo or Ndiaye either.
I don't think taking failures and project players from bigger clubs makes us as serious as others do, I also don't put this one in the PL proven basket which everyone seems keen on
RDZ will be more than aware about the lack of football he has had and yet still wants to bring him here, so just a case of wait and see what the player and coach deliver on this, this one just doesn't particularly bother me tbh....
All possibleDunno if it's the manager - i know he said he wanted out publicly but Richy seems more angry with the way the transfer was handled, which would be higher than the manager - maybe we accepted the offer from Everton before discussing it with the player or rejected other bids because this one helped us with Ndiaye
