Aston Villa

I actually feel sorry for them, I'm glad Saudi Sportswashing Machine couldn't do a City but Villa having to sell everyone doesn't feel right either.
Yeah, if I'm on their side of the fence, I'm definitely thinking it's unfair that the big 6 have pulled up the bridge and made it a closed shop financially.

The other side of the coin is that it isn't fair or right when you see a Chelsea or City playing on cheat mode. It's a very tough situation to regulate, I'm not sure what the answer is but what we have doesn't feel right even if we are benefitting from it.

My issue with it is that Spurs is being targeted but absolutely should not be the target. THFC has operated sustainably and responsibly for 20+ years in order to develop a business that can afford to spend money because it actually makes money.

During that period of development, arguably our greatest team for 50 odd years won nothing because it was competing with two clubs on unfiltered cheat mode that used blood- and nation-state money to hoover up nearly every trophy going.

The likes of Agbonlahor should be looking beyond N17 for somewhere to hold responsible for the distortion of the EPL.

Good transfer this one.

I read from Ornstein that the relationship between the heads of PSG and Villa helped smooth this one, at a price that seems lower than that mooted for Liverpool earlier this summer.
Will their fans still be shrieking about our spending with this fella and Jackson coming through the door?
They do give the look of enjoying a slightly shady deal at Villa Park nowadays
