levy was a net positive for the club. Look where we were when he took over.

They sidelined him after the Europa league win and got rid of him shortly after.

We won two trophies in his time, which is about the average for this club's history.
Let's hope being run by 'football sheeple', bankrolled by financially naive Nepos, brings the shiny trophies.

It’s somewhat lower than usual since Spurs became a big club (I.e. since they have pretty much always been in the top division - only 1 season outside of it since 1950)

1950s; 1 trophy
1960s: 5
1970s: 3
1980s: 3
1990s: 2
2000s: 1
2010s: 0
2020s: 1 (so far).

Of course we won’t know until 25 years’ time, but I’d back us to win more than 2 trophies in the next quarter of a century.

So would i - due to the financial strength that we now enjoy. Which of course was not the case for the majority of the last 25 years.

And apart from in the 60s how many times did we put in a title challenge? How many times did we finish top four?

How many semi’s and finals did we reach in all of those decades?

And this is it really

Look we all know success is judged primarily on silverware, no one can deny that and on that metric Levy underperformed. But when you take that to one side, its absolutely undeniable that the club made HUGE strides forward both as a footballing entity and a commercial entity to which we are now seeing the benefits today. Highest league finish since 62-63 when we had not even been in the top 6 in the 10 years previous, top 4 seven times, seven Champions League Appearances, out of Europe only 6 times, only out of Europe once in the last 16 years. People will no doubt sneer at it, but its evidence of progression as a club who 10 years previously had one visit to the 2 round Europe to its record. He left us a much better club than the one he took over.
