***Tottenham v Brentford OMT***

Seen a lot of previews of this weekend’s games and invariably all mention last season when analysing Spurs. Strangely leave out that as bad as we were Brentford could only take 1 point from our games. They will rely on set pieces, throw ins and being compact. Will be a test of how many teams will set up if we are to be as good as we hope to

Up the Spurs

Fcuk me I cried my eyes out at 10:12 in the morning...........given my old mans passing this feels even more...................COYS

Said this in another thread before, Tottenham have been my one constant in my life for over 50 years now. Friends, jobs, family, trends all come and go, Tottenham have been there throughout. Some days more, some less, but always there

I was 50 on Thursday
My birthday party is a with my mate who is an Everton season ticket holder
Have a guess when the party is …
Yep when we play them
Football has odd quirks that keeps on brining us back for more
I said to the family at dinner that Tottenham have been my love for 45 years
If they still are in 45 years time I’d be a happy man

Oh blimey I wasn't ready for that. Unfortunately over the last 9 months I've had reason to closely consider my own mortality (got the all-clear on Tuesday). Many times especially in recent years I've thought that Tottenham might have finally broken my almost 60 years of love for them but I now know that whatever they do, they just can't. I may (hopefully) have a few years left but I am so happy that both my sons and grandson are fully COYS too.

Haven't seen any horse riding here, but it's a huge place. I have noticed the lack of plurals though. Most people speak Setswana as their first language, where the plural is formed by changing the START of a word, so maybe that explains why they don't add the 's'.

For example, "batswana" = 1 Botswanan, while "motswana" = many Botswanans.

This place is amazing though - so much wildlife!
Good knowledge @FatBloke
Henceforth Gooners shall be known as The Munt

Tremendous on the all clear mate, will raise a glass to you and my old man at KO. And to anyone who has had a tough time this year on here. COYS

Got to be thinking about a win today, I get our attack is not up to top level snuff, but with nearly 200m in midfield a near perfect back 4, you need to think we will be solid enough to eek out chances and not give them up at the other end. I fully respect Brentford for sure, but we should be bang on today

the fact they are even close to a bench is good to hear. in 3-4 weeks we will have them back at a decent level.

I think it will be longer than that, but it's been good to see Kulusevski out training again.

Hopefully we see more of the players missing join in with the first team soon
